1) In late
elementary school, Adam wrote to the actress Bridgette
Wilson who played 'Sonya Blade' in the 1995
screen adaptation of "Mortal Kombat" In the letter
he professed his admiration for her and her work, and asked
if she would like to be friends, and if she would write back.
Years later when the story surfaced, in response to the content
of the letter, Adam Mancini was quoted as saying "That
(the letter) was brief, and bold". Miss Wilson failed
to reply to Adam's plea for friendship. It is also worthy
to note that Adam discovered Miss Wilson's mailing address
in an issue of Gamepro magazine. |
2) Early in Adam's childhood, he would sneak into
his mother's closet to be with her leather boots.
Details of what exactly was done while spending time with
the boots is hazy, but sources point to caressing gestures.
When caught and questioned as to why he had locked himself
away in the closet, he would tell his parents that he was
simply "playing G.I. Joe's" a pass time he often
enjoyed with his close friend Chubbs. It would appear his
early penchant for leather goods would not be wholly manifest
until his later years, in which several DVD copies of David
Hogan's 1996 master piece "Barbed Wire" would be
purchased, and viewed repeatedly. |
| 3) Up until the summer of 2006, Adam thought that Watermelon
rinds were poisonous. |
4) Throughout his high school years, Adam was a member
of the Newmarket based break dancing crew "Body language" alongside Geoff Watson and Frasier Avey. Group highlights
include the events "Geoff's garage '01" and "Mount
Albert throwdown" |
5) Upon hearing about the death of the 40th President of the
United States of America, Ronald Reagan, in June of 2004,
Adam responded: "Who's that?" Days later while travelling
in Boston Massachusetts, when asked why flags were flaying
at half mast, Adam sharply replied " 'Cause someone died" When asked who had died, without break he shot back: "Ronald
McDonald" |
|
7) Adam spent an entire school year swooning a special lady friend
from school. His tactics included walking her home from school,
daily, while serenading her with the Fugees song
"Ready or not" |
| 8) Adam owns the special edition "Sex in the city"
DVD box set. |
9) Adam was known at his elementary school for being the kid
who would regularly wear sweat pants, and would pull
them past his waist up to his neck to impress
his friends. |
|
11) Many of Adam's jeans have a "chap stick mark" worn
into the denim in the right hand front pocket, from his near
fanatic use of the stuff. A small price to pay for visibly
soft, silky and kissable lips. His favorite flavours
include: melon melody and berry blast. |
12) Adam was almost evicted from his Toronto based apartment on
the account of him flying a pirate flag from his
balcony railing. |
13&14) Adam refuses to get an ipod. Along
with his janitor keys, he manages to shove a portable
cd player into the back pocket of his size
seven jeans.
To further prove this point, his carry-on bag when flying
to Arizona was a plastic bag of cassette tapes for his Walkman. |
| 15) Adam has no inner dialogue. |
(A Special Thanks To Adam For Having One The Greatest
Sense of Humours and No Shame!)
